The appointment

What the hour actually is.

No counter. No queue. A table, a tray of loose stones, and the people who will make the piece.

  1. 01

    The table

You sit down. Nothing is on display that is not for you, and nobody is standing behind you.

  2. 02

    The stones

Loose stones come out on the tray — under the loupe, in daylight, with their certificates beside them. You handle them.

  3. 03

    The drawing

The setting is drawn while you watch. Proportions, height, how it will sit against a wedding band in ten years.

  4. 04

    The number

Before you leave, you know what the piece costs to make and why. Nothing follows you out of the room.

Most people come once to look and once to decide. Both hours are complimentary.

Who is at the table

Mike and Panos Levendi.

Sophia and Nicholas Levendi opened the bench in 1967. The family has not left it since. One of the brothers is in the building most days, and one of them will be sitting across from you.

You will not be handed to a salesperson, because there isn't one.

Before the hour

A few notes, so the bench has something ready.

It takes about two minutes, and none of it commits you to anything. We use it to decide what comes out of the safe before you arrive.

Appointments recommended. If a calendar is not for you, the number below reaches the room.

One of two — about the piece About two minutes
Two answers are still missing. They are marked below.

What are we preparing for?

Nothing here is a commitment, and no answer is wrong.

What the piece is for

Choose one, so we know which tray to bring out.

When it is needed

A rough answer is enough.

Where the stone sits in the making

It decides what we bring to the table. It does not decide how you are received.

Optional. One line is plenty.

Your answers go to the bench, not to a mailing list.

Your details are still needed. They are marked below.

Where we reach you.

Mornings are quietest. Saturdays are by request. The hour is chosen on the next screen.

We need a name for the appointment book.

A house cannot hold an hour for someone it cannot reach.

Confirmation and the address, nothing else.

Check this one — the confirmation goes here.

Your details are used to arrange the hour and nothing else.

We confirm by phone within one business day. Nothing is charged, and no card is taken.

That did not reach us. Nothing you typed is lost — try once more, or call the number at the top of the page and the room will take it down directly.

The brief is with the bench. Now the hour.

Your notes are already with us, so nothing below asks for them again. Choose a time that suits and the room is yours.

If nothing here suits, the number at the foot of this page reaches the room directly. Open the calendar in a new window

Proved

A prototype comes off the printer so the ring can be tried on a hand before any metal is cut.

03

Set

Stones go in by hand, at the peg, one at a time. This is the part nobody can hurry.
