The house has made jewellery by hand since 1967, and the pieces are made where they are shown. Mike and Panos Levendi work from the same address, so a visit is not a viewing of stock alone — it is a conversation with the people who make the work.

The showroom sits in the Sydney CBD, on Elizabeth Street opposite Hyde Park.

Late trade on a Thursday runs to 7pm, which is the easiest evening to come in after work.

What a visit is like

You are met by a member of the family or the workshop, and you sit down. There is no floor to walk, and nothing is brought out until you have said what you are looking for.

Pieces are shown one at a time so they can be seen properly — under the light, on the hand, against the metal you are actually considering. If a design in the collection is close but not right, it can be altered: the metal, the stone specification, the proportions. Most of what leaves this workshop began as a piece someone had already seen and wanted changed.

If you are bringing an existing piece to be remade, repaired or valued, bring it with you and bring any certificates you hold with it.

Appointments are recommended so the right person and the right pieces are ready; you are welcome to call ahead.

Booking a private appointment

A consultation is complimentary and is held either at 139 Elizabeth Street or online, by your preferred method of communication. Appointments are set aside for one client at a time.
